5G Introduction

5G networks is the latest network of cellular mobile communications. It succeeds by the 4G/LTE.

3GPP 5G system consisting of 5G Access Network (AN), 5G Core Network and UE.

UE ( User Equipment)

A User Equipment, is consisting of New Radio which Supports 5G System.

5G Access Network

5G Access Network comprising a NG-RAN or Non-3GPP Access Network Connecting to 5G Core Network.

5G Core Network

5G System architecture is defined to support data connectivity and services enabling deployments to use techniques such as e.g. Network Function Virtualization and Software Defined Networking.

5G Core Network consists of Network Functions and the principles for Network Function and Network Function Service discovery and selection.
