MySQL - Null Values


MySQL NULL Condition is used to test for a NULL value in a SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE statement.


SYNTAX FOR IS NULL :

SELECT column_names
FROM table_name
WHERE column_name IS NULL;

EXAMPLE :


SELECT StudentName, ParentName, Address FROM studentrecord
WHERE Address IS NULL;
StudentNameParentNameAddress

SYNTAX FOR IS NOT NULL :

SELECT column_names
FROM table_name
WHERE column_name IS NOT NULL;

EXAMPLE :

SELECT StudentName, ParentName, Address FROM Infostudents
WHERE Address IS NOT NULL;
